Accountancy firm Huygens entrusted Buro International with the refurbishment when expanding their offices. In collaboration with Het Kantoor van Morgen, the newly purchased adjoining building was furnished.

A pleasant reception area and a spacious meeting room were created, where clients are welcomed in style.

The importance of a working environment that is also a pleasant living environment for employees is reflected, among other things, in the cosy kitchen-diner and a practical shower room.

The existing offices were also given a makeover, striking a balance between collaboration and privacy. An open-plan space was created and divided with vertical slats. With flexible working and focus areas, the office fully meets the needs of the employees. The height-adjustable sit-stand desks meet today’s ergonomic requirements.

Huygens was determined to shake off the label of an old-fashioned accountancy firm. That is why warm materials and autumn colours accentuate the stylish solidity of the firm. The warm atmosphere continues into the dining area, where a custom-made solid oak refectory table takes pride of place. Buro International also supplied a custom bench and an armchair, along with chairs in different colours. Surprisingly, the meeting table can also be used as a ping-pong table.
